My name is Katrina, I am only 32 years old and I’ve had double, partial knee replacements. When I opted to have the surgery I had high hopes that it would relieve me of my excruciating knee pain, but instead I felt 100 times worse! Before actionwrX I was taking 800 mg of ibuprofen 3 times a day and I could barely walk. As a result my muscles atrophied and I slowly put on weight due to a lack of ability to move around without pain. I have been an active person all of my life and I was seriously losing hope of ever feeling good again or being able to do the things that I loved to do.
That all changed in February of 2013 when I met Nichole Rae. In the short time I have worked with her I have dropped 8 pounds of fat, I am back working hard in the gym, I can walk up the stairs pain-free, I am down to 200 mg of ibuprofen ONCE per day, AND I am currently seeking a mountain bike to expand my fitness. I am learning what I should eat, when I should eat it and the exact amount of “fuel” my body needs to maximize fat burn, maintain my lean muscle and keep my energy levels high. I feel great! The thing that has been the most life changing – almost more than being taught how to work-out pain-free and regaining control of my life and health – is the fact that the coaches of Liv365 always encourage me to “start from where I am”. I can easily fall back into old habits and beat myself up for not being able to do the things “I used to do” and that kept me paralyzed and depressed. Today I know that when I get off track a little bit it’s OK! I can just pick up and start from right where I am and keep moving forward. Nichole is motivating and inspirational. She walks the talk and brings a great deal of compassion and understanding to the lives of real people 365 days a year!
